Lead Capture App Frozen

Possible Cause

  1. App Overworked / Frozen.
  2. Software/Hardware malfunction.

Resolution

  1. To reset an app:
    1. Double click the home button.
    2. Force Close the application by swiping up on the iPad screen.
    3. Then relaunch the application needed.
  2. Soft Reset the Linea Pro:
    1. To begin the reset, press the scan and battery status buttons simultaneously until you hear a series of beeps.
    2. Release both buttons. The unit restarts. Wait 1 minute.
  3. Soft Reset Linea Pro 7:
    1. Locate the small pinhole near the USB port.
    2. Insert the end of a pin or paper clip to restart the. Wait 1 minute.
  4.  If problem persist, enable camera by:
  5. Going into the settings of the phone.
  6. Scroll down and find the Lead Capture app.
  7. You will find there enable camera option.

Scanner Does Not Want To Change Session

Scanner Battery Life Depleting Faster Than Usual

Possible Cause

  1. Excessive Battery Consumption.
  2. Battery didn't charge properly.

Resolution

  1. To Reduce Battery Consumption:
    1. Turn off bluetooth if it is not necessary.
    2. Lower the Screen brightness.
    3. Force Close any unnecessary Apps.
    4. Turn Off Backup Charging Feature.
      1. Go to the IPC Support App.
      2. Select Configuration.
      3. Switch Backup Charge Off.
  2. Ensure the red light is on when set back into charging station.
