iPad Freezes / Screen Lock / Not Responding
Possible Cause
iPad may need a Soft Reset.
iPad needs a Hard Reset.
Resolution
To Soft Reset an iPad:
Press & Hold the Power Button.
When the Power Off slider pops up, slide to the right.
Wait 1 minute
Press & Hold Power Button until the Apple Logo shows.
Resetting the iPad:
Simultaneously Press and Hold the power button and the home button until the Apple logo disappears on the center of your ipad display. (This forces your ipad to turn off and back on.)
App Freezes / App Crashes/
Possible Cause
App Overworked.
App Software Outdated.
Resolution
To reset an app:
Double click the home button.
Force Close the application by swiping up on the iPad screen.
Then relaunch the application needed.
To Update App:
Open the App Store
Tap the profile icon at the top of the screen.
Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes.
Tap update next to an app to update only that app, or tap update all.
App resets (Power Cycle) Ipad
Possible Cause
App software outdated.
App needs to be re-installed.
Resolution
To Update App:
Open the App Store.
Then tap Apps located at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the profile icon at the top of the screen.
Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes.
Tap update next to an app to update only that app, or tap update all.
To Delete App:
Press and hold on the App icon.
Select Delete App (or the X icon depending on SW version).
Go to the App store.
Select Magnifier icon and search for the App.
Install App.

iPad not connecting to WiFi
Possible Cause
Wifi disabled on iPad.
Wrong Network.
IP Conflict.
Network Congestion*
Resolution
When checking if the wifi is enabled on the iPad:
Go to the Settings App.
Select the WiFi option.
Ensure that enable WiFi (Switch is Green).
Making sure iPad is on the correct network:
Follow Step 1 Above.
Select correct WiFi Network.
If it reverts to another Network:
Click on the (i) next to it.
Select Forget Network.
Connect to correct WiFi Network again.
To Reset Connection:
Go to the Settings App.
Select WiFi Option.
Flip Switch to Off (Grey).
Flip Switch back On (Green).
If problem continues:
Click on the (i) next to the WiFi Network.
Select Forget network.
Re-Connect to the correct WiFi Network.
Verify with the Venue the necessary websites have been White Listed.
Battery Usage / Low Battery
Possible Cause
Brightness on the iPad is set higher than needed.
Bluetooth on while not being used.
Too many Apps running in the background.
Resolution
Go to the Settings App:
Click on Display & Brightness.
On this page you will see a scroll bar where you can dim or brighten if needed.
