MANAGING EVENT REGISTRATION

A big part of any event’s success is the amount of planning and preparation that goes with it. Here is a quick checklist you can follow especially during event registration. When you request information, the registration form should require participants to provide the following:

  • Attendee profile, including all contact information
  • Company affiliation and title
  • Nickname or preferred name for the badge
  • Emergency contact information
  • Member status (exhibitor, supplier, nonmember, guest, media, complimentary, speaker, volunteer)
  • Companion, guest, or spouse information
  • Americans With Disabilities Act requirements or special needs or meals, if applicable
  • Payment information: include a list of accepted credit cards
